Fulumbar Ironhammer

This is a commission piece done for my good friend's son. It is Fulumbar Ironhammer the Dwarf from Reaper's Warlord series.

It has been a long time since I have done any commission pieces. A good friend of mine's son has had a long standing D & D group with which they used prepainted plastic minis (ugh) from random sources. My friend being the wise man he is, taught his son the joys of using hand painted miniatures from a young age. His son had grown tired of the prepainted minis so he contacted me to paint 2 miniatures for him, one of each of his main D & D characters. This is the first one Fulumbar Ironhammer the Dwarf from Reaper's Warlord series (#14146). The only instructions he gave were that the Dwarf MUST have red hair (probably due to the fact that he too was a ginger) and that his character had a magical glass hammer. He also wanted the beer stein on the sheild replace with his coveted hammer in front of thunderclouds. I think the model turned out ok. I'm still not sure I'm satisfied with the glass hammer but I'm not sure how i would improve it.
