Kroot of Hazard

The Dukes of Hazard in the world of Warhammer 40K. A joint project between Thistle and shrub34.

NOTE: Thistle and I did not do this project to make fun of the Dukes of Hazard.

A contest posted on Adeptus Windy City, called Adeptus Chop Shop Challenge (also known as, “Pimp My Rhino”) caught Thistle and Shrub’s eye. The final idea, take a Tau Devilfish and convert it into the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazard.

Since the contest is more about the conversion than painting, we didn’t highlight the model like it needs. But with one month of work and more VGC Hot Orange than Shrub cares to see now this is the final product.

Of course one of our friends, dont_panic, adds a post to the contest rules that she’ll make cookies for anyone that puts a PS2 and 21” plasma screen in their “ride. Well a PS2 didn’t fit the time frame of the General Lee so we put in an Atari that is playing Pong.

The General Lee isn’t the General Lee without its classic rebel flag on the top and the name of the car up top also. Of course we needed to tweak it slightly, so the General Lee is written in Tau lettering.
