Ugly Purple Space Marine Chaplian

This is my first model painted in the fall of 2003.

It is the Chaplin for the Ugly Purple Marines. Nothing great to look at, but shows that with practice you can learn to paint well.

He was, at the time, painted with great care using cheap no name craft paints. The eyes were painted using toothpicks, since knowing how to wield a brush was beyond me at the time.
