Rules of Central Illinois Blood Bowl League

  1. CIBBL uses Blood Bowl Living Rule Book version 5
  2. The following exceptions apply:
    1. You may retire a player to coaching staff. The new coach costs nothing but does increase team value.
    2. You may not bring or use offical Star Players, even with inducements.
    3. Players that start with 'Loner' skill may pick up the 'Team Player' skill on a skill roll of doubles.
      'Team Player' skill negates the effects of Loner for that player. i.e. That player no longer needs to see if they are allowed to actually use a re-roll.
    4. A different injury table is in effect, please use the replacement page 25.
  3. Matches and Record Keeping
    1. A team may not play the same team twice in a row.
    2. You may not play another team you coach.
    3. A Premier team can only player another Premier team.
    4. Each coach will enter thier own match within 48 hours of the game.
    5. All offical rosters are kept online, exception is back-to-back matches.
    6. If there was a data entry error, let the know and he will correct it.
  4. Teams and Divisions
    1. Each coach may have a team per division.
    2. New teams in the regular divisions start with 1,000,000 to build the team.
  5. Premier Rules
    1. What Teams Qualify
      1. Before Season 3 starts any team with a team value of 1,750,000 or any team with 2 seasons under its belt.
      2. After Season 3 starts may move to Premier following any game in which the new team value is greater than 1,750,000.
    2. Teams in Premier division may only play other Premier teams.
    3. Cannot play the same team twice in a row.
    4. Premier teams do not pay spiralling expenses.
    5. Premier teams may start a Farm team in the division that the Premier team came from.
    6. Players will only leave a Premier team by retiring, firing, or death.
    7. Players may be hired from a farm team by the Premier team immediately following a Premier game; by paying the farm team the current base value of the player moving up and paying a tax to the league equal to the value of the player's skills.
    8. The farm team may immediately hire a rookie to replace the vacated roster slot.
  6. Optional Rules In Effect (Page 34)
    1. Most Valueable Players will be selected using option 2, with the exception that the player must have taken the field during that game.
    2. Spiralling expenses are done per the table, page 29.
    3. Special play cards will be used as per option 1.
    4. No other optional rules are in use.
  7. Seasons
    1. Seasons will be 3 months long
    2. End of season date will be announced at least a month before the end.
  8. Tournaments
    1. End of each season will be capped by one minor and one major tournament.
    2. Tournaments will be announced at least a month before the end of the season.
    3. Inducements will be allowed in tournaments with the exception of Star players and mercenaries.
    4. Winnings for semi-final and final matches of the tournament have the dice roll doubled before modifiers.
  9. Rules Questions
    1. In general try to resolve rule questions to the best of your ability.
